The telephone survey interviewed 1,500 people among a representative cross-section of Canadian adults. Issues examined in the survey included treaty negotiation and the treatment of on- and off-reserve Natives; planning and implementation of self-government; Aboriginal control over major social programs in their communities; and the transfer of Aboriginal labour market training responsibility to the provinces. The appendix contains tables showing detailed results.
