Book excerpt: Clippings of two articles about author Fannie Belle Taylor Richardson of Greenwood, Indiana and her book, Eisenhower lineage and reference, 1691-September 3, 1957. The two articles appeared in the Sunday, December 15, 1957 and the Sunday, January 5, 1958 issues of the Indianapolis Star. Richardson's book traces the ancestral lineage of United States President Dwight D. "Ike" Eisenhower. According to Richardson, Eisehower's ancestors were German and settled first in Pennsylvania before migrating to other parts of the United States, including Indiana. After her book was published, President Eisenhower sent Richardson a letter, thanking her writing the book and sending him a copy of it.
