Regret tends to incorporate both things we wish we had done and things we wish we hadn't done, always with an eye toward not repeating the same mistakes. But time has a way of bringing us back to both scenarios, often against our will and better judgment. Yet, the need to revisit the past remains a very strong impetus in our memory, regardless of our desires. The poems aspire to highlight this tendency. Vasile Munteanu earned a B.A. and an M.A. degree in English from Oakland University in Michigan and a Ph.D. in Philosophy, Interpretation and Culture from State University of New York at Binghamton. He teaches Literature and Philosophy at the College of Southern Nevada in Las Vegas. He is also the author of Godmaker, The Book of Aloneness, The Unthought, Forgotten Words, The Book of Remembrance, Chandala, and the Book of Intentions.
