Book excerpt: Excerpt from Results of Astronomical Observations Made at the Radcliffe Observatory, Oxford, in the Year 1876, Vol. 36 There is generally some difficulty in taking up the threads of unfinished astronomical work; and I experienced some little difficulty in finding the details of the corrections which Mr. Main had considered it necessary to apply to the Zenith distance observations of the year. Until this was done the Catalogue could not be finally passed for press. These remarks will pro bably be sufficient to account for the delay which has taken place in the publication of the Radcliffe Observations for 1876.
