The Mong as a people have experienced a series of formative episodes up to 2021. This second edition of Mong Education at the Crossroads have been updated with new information since 1999 when it was first published. As new immigrants in the United States, the Mong Americans have encountered tremendous social, cultural, and educational problems during their transition from Mong to Mong Americans. However, during their last four decades and a half in the United States, the Mong have adjusted amazingly and have made significant contributions to the United States.
