Does either system of economic belief, however, meet our needs? Faced with uncertain global economic conditions and problems with capitalism and free markets, we seek solutions in socialism and government control. Faced with declining individual freedom and problems with socialism and government control, we seek solutions in capitalism and free markets. In light of the emerging evolution of consciousness view of the universe, we see economics in all its past and contemporary forms--those that lean toward socialism and those that lean toward capitalism--as obsolete. A new economic philosophy reveals itself, an economics for tomorrow--an economics of fulfillment.
