With these volumes we hope to expand the perspective of all classical music audiences, professional musicians, and students regarding who is included among the composers we listen to, study and play. The works included in these volumes propose empowering additions to any studio, classroom, and concert program.This first set of volumes and their companion recordings feature works by Black and Latino composers geared toward beginning through intermediate string students.
