Just like in the first devotional, youare on a journey to making both yourself and your business better.This devotional is something that has been on my heart for a longtime. I have spoken passionately about how a devotional life hasbeen a tremendous benefit to my business and my life as anentrepreneur. Hearing from God has built up so much confidencein me; heightened my discernment, strengthened my resolve, givenme strength in the tough moments, and helped me maximize themoments of success.There is nothing about the life of an entrepreneur that is easy.Success is not a straight line, so you will need something to anchoryou in the "valley" of business. Your faith will be tested, you willquestion whether God is in this with you. I assure you that he is.That is the main reason that I decided to write these devotionals. Iwanted to be able to provide encouragement the way I wishedsomeone would have done for me as an entrepreneur.As with Volume 1, that the devotions are only for Monday throughFriday. I still believe that as an entrepreneur you need to be asadamant about rest as you are about work. Rest is necessary so youcan maintain the pace you have created for your business; and alsoyou need to be able to spend time with family, friends, yourchurch, and yourself. You need time to reflect, rejuvenate and thenre-engage.So, you will be focused on doing the work in this devotional onMonday through Friday. However, on Saturday and Sunday Iwould encourage you to recharge yourself. Whether you do thatalone or with friends, it's extremely important that you do.2Every Monday we will stretch ourselves and our faith as we prepareto work to the glory of God in our businesses.Additionally, at the end of each devotion, I will leave you with afew thoughts of reflection to think through, write about, and trackyour progress. I want you to pay special attention to how youprogress through this 21-day process. In business, we don't setgoals for the sake of doing so. We set goals that are attainable, butmore importantly, measurable. We need to see if and how what weare doing, is working. So, I encourage you to keep a journalthrough this process.I am so excited about this journey that we get to take together andlook forward to what you will look like on the other side of these21 days.Here we grow again!!!
