Book excerpt: I wrote Baneful Seduction, telling the story of more than ten generations, as a fictional account of a Greenwich, CT, family to celebrate the great life that I have had, with my family, where we have for generations kept up with our generations of family members over the years, in addition to having very enjoyable, frequent family gatherings. My parents worked hard to give us the opportunity to have a great spiritual upbringing and the best academic education, as well as for us to participate in many sports, from tennis to snow and water skiing, to other outdoor activities, and from horseback riding and hunting, to flying. Our family provided us very solid marriages as examples, and me becoming a Naval Officer, serving at the height of the Cold War, out at the tip of the sword, in two Carrier Battle Groups, had a very positive influence on my life. I was blessed to way more than just survive a Pineal brain tumor when my wife, Louise, was five months pregnant with our second child, our daughter Mary Lawrence, while her big brother, Cage, Jr, was only two and half years old. I've also been very blessed to wake up every day with Louise by my side, and by having very good health for my 60 years.
