Book excerpt: Many people believe in reincarnation but Clayton Farley provides another explanation in his science-fiction/fantasy novel, Cyclers. Farley's first novel presents a new take on many lives. Preparing for a new life has a whole new meaning when you might be able to "take it with you." Travel with Mark and David as they encounter new lives, loves and experiences. Clayton was born in West Virginia and moved with his family several times before leaving home and finding Maine. His background in engineering and law helped him earn a living but had no positive impact on his imagination. He discovered science fiction/fantasy in the 1960s with Asimov's Foundation series and such classics as Animal Farm and 1984.Although he wrote volumes as a lawyer, after retirement, he experimented with letting his imagination expand and found new joy in writing. He shares his Maine home with his wonderful wife, Lou, and an occasional rabbit.
