Book excerpt: The BABAR collaboration has performed a number of measurements on hadronic B decays to charmonium and open charm mesons. Preliminary results based on a sample of nearly 23 million B {bar B} pairs, collected between October 1999 and October 2000, are reviewed. These include measurements of exclusive branching fractions and ratios of branching fractions, as well as angular distributions.
