Denton, the Governor of the Colony, to H. M. Brandford griffith, Oflicer in charge of the Secretariat, to His Honour R. D. Russell, Chief Magistrate, to Capt. Haddon smith, to Dr. R. M. Forde, Colonial Surgeon, to the Government Officials and Officers of the West Indian Regiment stationed at Bathurst. The Expedition is especially indebted to His Excellency H. M. Brandford griffith, Acting Governor of the Colony during the greater portion of its time spent in the Colony, and to Mrs. Brandford griffith, for their great kindness, and to Lieut. G. C.
