Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this thesis, we present MPIAB (Message Passing Interface-Agent Based), an agent based architecture for parallel programming. MPIAB is developed to model functions of standard MPI, using Java agents. We present the implementation of a list of collective communication functions, used for communication between various agents in MPIAB. The system evaluation of MPIAB is performed to compare the performance of MPIAB with an existing MPI implementation MPICH. Various tools are integrated with MPIAB to make it into a complete user friendly package. We discuss about the packaging of the MPIAB software, into a compact disc. The MPIAB software comes with a CD and User Manual.
