Book excerpt: This volume is a compilation of the papers presented during the inaugural RSIS-Center for Naval Analyses Joint Conference held in Singapore on 9-10 November 2011, on the theme of "Navigating the Indo-Pacific Arc". The Conference sought to explore maritime security issues across the Indo-Pacific region, with the goal of investigating the value and implications of the strategic connectivity between its various sub-regions.
