To circumvent this war the Colombian cartel launched their own assault by flying in cocaine to Alaska where it was distributed down the coast and into Canada. Because they were new at this they asked the Mounties in Canada to help them find the Colombians and their hidden air base to break up the smuggling that was going on in the vast wilderness. John Doyle is asked to go undercover and infiltrate the smugglers. With the help of several of his friends he travels the Alaskan Highway in search of smugglers and along the way he uses his unusual skill set to track them down. Meanwhile back in Windsor, Ontario Susan, his wife, acts as a go between John and the Mounties. As they travel the highway the young men experience many new adventures and dangers as well as meeting one of their own who joins them in the mission. "Operation Gringo" provides excitement, adventure and all the experiences that highlight one of John's cases.
