I was trapped, with no hope of escape, and no hope for something better. Then a small female crawled out of a vent in my ceiling. Naomi doesn't treat me like a monster, she doesn't smell of fear or disgust when I loom over her. Trading my rations for her company seems like a small price to pay for the gift of having someone speak to me, sleep near me. It doesn't take long for me to realize I'll do anything for the female who's fallen into my lap. I'll fight for her safety, kill to keep that smile on her face.
