From the beginning of humankind God has been directing us in the right direction, but sometimes we choose to go in the wrong direction. God sent Jesus down to earth to live among us and to experience the life that His people lived each day. Jesus died on the cross for our sins to provide us with a second chance to get it right. The day we accepted Jesus in our lives as our Lord and Savior, He gave us the gift of sanctification. If we follow this process we can thrive to be more like Jesus Christ, becoming a disciple of God, with the determination to keep our eyes on the prize, Jesus Christ.
