If he buys his future contract at 10 cents per pound, and at the time of delivery is tendered middling, he must, of course, pay that price, even though middling in the spot market be selling at only 5 cents. The contention is that if the buyer is tendered other grades than middling he should not be forced to take them at arbitrary differences which may aggravate his loss, but that he should get them at the true differences on or 011 middling existing in the spot market at time of delivery.
