While the Christian faith is the predominant one in the land, the truth is that it, like a veil, is laid over the much older faith. Ancient Slavic paganism and its deities still exist deep in the abundant forests of these lands. Sometimes they meddle in human affairs. When the old gods answer the town witch, things begin to spiral out of control.
